Behind the Mountains
The SUN rises and sets
Without a whisper
Through the Earths’ Soil
a Flower emerges
green, first then straight up toward the sun
Red petals bursting forth – a Poppy
Spring Returns
Blue Birds, Red Cardinals, Yellow Finches, Gray Doves, and Black Crows
Visit the backyard oasis to feast and bathe in the water
each Singing their own song

Clouds gather
Room darkens
Colder is the air
Autumn fades and with it, so do the leaves
Squirrel buries acorns on the bank
Birds feast on the feeders
Busy mind wanders
Heart longs for creative expression to reign
A familiar refrain comes to mind ‘Where does love go when the lights go out?’
Love is always here residing in the Heart, the Whisperer reminds me
The only thing required from you is to ‘Believe’
The answers may not be evident. Waiting is required. I’m not good at waiting.
Yet, I know, when the door opens effortlessly, I am walking in alignment with the Source of All Knowingness and Love, and once again, All WILL be Well.

to feel the wind on my face
to hear his voice
to hug my grandsons without masks
to retire and enjoy my days writing and creating art
to go to Mass and receive Communion
to sit on the shore at the beach, and listen to the ocean’s song, to feel its waves wash upon my feet
to bathe in the forest and breathe in the fragrance of pines and flaming azaleas
to finish a book or two
to be guided to where and what my true calling is
to love and know myself so well that naturally, love overflows to all those around me
to be more grateful
to be present in this moment, in this breath

mending strained relationships
putting life into perspective
having employment
working with loving individuals
the colours green, blue and pink
yoga
clean laundry
enough food to eat and share
art in all its forms
